Whether you're looking for the GrubHub driver delivering dinner, checking on suspicious visitors, or keeping a watchful eye on the house when you're away, the Blink Outdoor security camera system lets you do it for less.

Parent company Amazon is offering a one-, two-, three-, or five-camera kit for up to 36% off(Opens in a new window) .

The 2.7-by-2.7-by-1.2-inch (HWD) wireless battery-powered device boasts video motion detection for capturing 1080p footage at 30fps, while a 110-degree field of view and infrared LED night vision offer peace of mind. And, like purpose-built video doorbells, Blink Outdoor camera users can communicate with guests (invited or not) via a two-way speaker and microphone.

As an Amazon company, Blink's system works with Alexa voice commands, as well as IFTTT applets. It also comes with an even smaller Sync Module that connects to your home network. Cloud storage requires a subscription, but you can store video locally and view clips on demand.

Get a bird's-eye view from the camera via the accompanying Blink Home Monitor mobile app, which lets you take a snapshot, launch a live stream, or initiate two-way talk. The Camera Settings page, meanwhile, houses everything from battery level and outdoor temperature to motion sensitivity and Wi-Fi settings.

Following setup, installation of the Blink Outdoor camera is as easy as mounting the base and snapping in the shooter. Once in place, you can expect sharp, colorful daytime video and black-and-white nighttime monitoring on your phone or an Amazon Echo Show.

Secure your home with a single Blink Outdoor camera, available on Amazon for a discounted $74.99(Opens in a new window) —25% off the $99.99 sticker price. Or boost your defense with a pair ($65 off $179.99), trio ($90 off $249.99), or quintet ($130 off $379.99) of devices.
