The Melbourne Foursome will release their first album "By the Book" in February

Partner Look in Melbourne shared a new single called "Rodeo Tragic", which is the second single from their debut album "By The Book" to be released in February.

These four singles-including Cool Sounds' Ambrin Hasnain and Dainis Lacey, Studio Magic's Anila Hasnain and The Ocean Party, and Pop Filter's Lachlan Denton, etc.-announced this last month with the title single "Partner Look" Album.

'Rodeo Tragic' sees Ambrin Hasnain as the lead vocalist, with a flexible post-punk rhythm, trembling keys and a slightly wobbly guitar cord. Listen to the following:

"Rodeo Tragic was one of the first songs we wrote together, and the four of us drank some soft drinks together that night," Hasnain explained. "When we were recording the demo, I was writing lyrics. For some reason, all I could think of was seeing a horse on the beach.

"Later when I sat down and wrote the appropriate lyrics,'I'm just a horse by the sea, I'm just a horse doing me' This sentence has become part of the song. With some input from others, this song It gradually becomes a hymn of freedom for horses. Or something similar."

Partner Look was founded in 2018, and the band released its first 7-inch "Geelong/Right Here" in April this year. "By The Book" will be released via Spunk on February 4, 2022.
